A Letter from the 2010-11 MPAC President
Welcome everyone to a great new year for MAPPS,I hope this new school year will be the one that will be very rewarding to both you and your student. As Mr. Husfelt once said to a freshman class "You only get out of high school what you put into it." I would really like to see some new faces at the MPAC meetings this year. We still need some people to help us out with a few positions. We need a tailgate chair for homecoming, an ice cream social chair, and a Golf tournament chair. Please consider any of these positions and sign-up at Our first meeting next tuesday, Aug. 24th. I would like to leave you with one of my favorite quotes that keeps me motivated to volunteer.
"I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the community...and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of a splendid torch which I have got hold of for a moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations."
- George Bernard Shaw

Welcome to the MAPPS Website!
MAPPS is designed to provide the best college-preparatory education to be found in a comprehensive public high school. The academic program is based on the following principles:• A commitment to a rigorous academic curriculum
• A commitment to support student choice within that curriculum
• A commitment to teach the latest technology
• A commitment to foreign language proficiency
• A commitment to extensive guidance services
• A commitment to high expectations
• A commitment to provide time for extracurricular activities
With Mosley's long-standing record of academic success and community support, we believe the MAPPS program more than meets the needs of our college-bound students.
